Rwanda Polytechnic (RP), an institution dedicated to advancing technical and vocational education in Rwanda, has announced an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in the fields of image editing and filmmaking. Through its ICT Innovation Center, RP will offer short-term, project-based training designed to equip participants with essential skills to support their innovative business ideas. Applications are now open and will close on 15th December 2024.

For those with entrepreneurial aspirations or creative projects in multimedia, this program provides a focused, hands-on learning experience to bridge the gap between ideas and practical implementation. Participants who successfully complete the training and establish viable business ventures will also be eligible for a one-year incubation period at the ICT Innovation Center.

Program Objectives

The short-term training in image editing and filmmaking is designed with specific goals in mind:

Who Should Apply?

The program targets individuals with innovative business ideas or projects in the fields of image editing or filmmaking. Applicants must have completed secondary school (A-level) and demonstrate a clear interest in using these skills to pursue entrepreneurial ventures.

Incubation Opportunity

Participants who complete the program successfully and demonstrate entrepreneurial potential by starting relevant businesses will be eligible to apply for a one-year incubation period at the ICT Innovation Center. Through the existing partnership between the Government of Rwanda and the Alibaba Group, applications are invited for admission into the Bachelor in International Business at the Alibaba Business School, Hangzhou Normal University, People’s Republic of China, commencing in the academic year 2024/2025.
