Scholarship
UTB has two types of available scholarships namely: National Achievers Merit (NAM) Scholarship and International Students Scholarship (UTB International).
NATIONAL ACHIEVERS MERIT (NAM) SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
The applicants should:
- Be a Rwandan Nationality
- Score of 78% every Year/Level
- Have financial need
- Having completed at least one trimester
- Having personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities
- Submit a Scholarship Essay via Email ( academics@utb.ac.rw and copy ( dac.kigali@utb.ac.rw, dac.rubavu@utb.ac.rw )
- Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
- Having good ethical records
Scholarship Package
UTB support to the scholarship winners is:
- 100% of the total tuition fee for top achievers with a value of 182,500 Rwf per term and per student
- 30% of the total tuition fees for next best applicants with a value of 54,750 Rwf per term per student (Tuition fee waivers).
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
The applicants should:
- Be a foreigner
- Having completed at least one Trimester at UTB
- Having a minimum score of 78% or above
- Having personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities
- Submit a Scholarship Essay via Email academics@utb.ac.rw and copy ( dac.kigali@utb.ac.rw, dac.rubavu@utb.ac.rw )
- Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
- Having good ethical records
- Having attracted foreigners applicants ( With Evidences)
Scholarship Package
UTB support to the scholarship winners is:
- 15% discount of tuition fee for bachelor’s program in UTB
