You may have heard of schools in the University of Rwanda, or heard of school of Information Communication Technology, or don’t even know about it. While everyone at the university tend to know his or her school many don’t know about other schools which exists, in today’s guide I am going to explain everything you need to know about schools in the university of Rwanda.

Before I begin let’s make sure we are on the same page. What I mean is that you have read my article on everything you need to know about the university of Rwanda and this which explains the academic structure of the university of Rwanda, cause they are helpful.
Back to the topic, in summary Schools at UR are the subcategories of colleges. Then what are colleges, colleges are what divides the university and its faculties. You may need to read my article what are schools in the UR to know more about them but since you are here let me explain.
You see the University of Rwanda has many faculties that is like options to study so they have grouped them in colleges according to their relationship for example people who study technology are in college of science and technology (CST) and those in health-related field are in College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CMHS).

The UR has six colleges namely:
- College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS)
- College of Agriculture, Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (CAVM)
- College of Business and Economics (CBE)
- College of Education (CE)
- College of Science and Technology (CST)
- College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CMHS)
I think that is the summary on colleges if that is not enough for you make sure to read the academic structure of the university of Rwanda or what are colleges at the university of Rwanda. So also, in those colleges they have been grouped according to their relationship which are schools, which means there is UR and its Colleges and schools in each college, after colleges there are faculties but that is another topic.
So in summary this is a chart that explains it. Meaning that you have to know your faculty which school it is in and what college you are in and it also helpful to know other schools and faculties. Below is a grouping by order
