Dear Students

The admissions team will be hosting an information session with MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) prospective applicants on Friday 16 December from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM (CAT). Please be advised that applicants from the following countries are eligible for admission for this intake: Burundi, DRC, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Uganda and non-Rwandan nationals with refugee status in Rwanda.

 Applicants are free to ask their questions in advance by sending them to the mbbs@ughe.org

This information session is open to all prospective applicants interested and applying for UGHE’s MBBS program. And there will be a live Q&A session.

The admissions team is organizing an information session for potential MBBS applicants. This session will provide an opportunity for participants to ask any questions they may have and to learn more about the full application process. It is important for anyone interested in studying at UGHE to attend this session.

UGHE is Located 80 miles north of Rwanda’s capital city, Kigali in Burera district. This University offers a SIX AND A HALF-YEAR, DUAL DEGREE in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery.

UGHE’s joint Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery/Master of Science in Global Health Delivery (MBBS/MGHD) is a six and a half-year, bachelor’s level medical degree coupled with a master’s level global health degree.  The MBBS/MGHD degree equips future physicians with state-of-the-art clinical knowledge and know-how, as well as the skills needed to effectively implement innovative public health solutions, lead and manage equitable health systems, and improve the delivery of care in communities across the globe.
