PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA-GOVERNMENT OF RWANDA SCHOLARSHIPS

The Higher Education Council (HEC) wishes to inform the public that there are available bilateral cooperation scholarships (Bachelors, Masters, and PhD Levels) between the Government of Rwanda and the Peoples’ Republic of China for the academic year 2024 – 2025.

Interested candidates should submit all the following documents:

• Application letter addressed to the Director General of HEC;
• National ID or valid passport;
• Curriculum Vitae;
• One (1) passport size photo;
• Senior six results slip for undergraduates’ applicants and original-notified certificate and transcripts for postgraduates’ candidates.
• Filled forms for Chinese Government Scholarships and Medical Physical Examination (available on HEC website).

Candidates must have studied in science related fields with at least:

1. 54/60 (A in principal subjects) in the 2023 Senior Six National Examinations (or the equivalent for the qualifications obtained abroad) for Bachelor’s applicants;
2. Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2nd Class Upper Division (or the equivalent) for the Masters applicants;
3. Master’s Degree with a good pass for PhD applicants.
